DICKINSON — Northland PACE is providing a way for local seniors to keep living independently while receiving high quality medical care. Northland PACE will be featured in "All Access hosted by Andy Garcia," an educational documentary series that explores groundbreaking developments across healthcare, technology, and social infrastructure. Filming at the location took place in June and highlights the approach the local program takes to care for seniors. For Lynn Grimm, CEO of Northland PACE, being able to have documentary filmmakers highlight Northland PACE was an opportunity to showcase that the program works in North Dakota. We re living proof that rural PACE works and works well, she said. Rural PACE programs are growing. According to the Northland PACE website, PACE, which stands for Program of All-Inclusive Care for the Elderly, is a Medicare program and Medicaid state option that gives community-based care and services to people ages 55 or older.
